I’ve been many things over the years. Some by chance and some by choice. Through it all, I’ve wondered why I am here and what my purpose is. Everyone struggles with these questions.
Along the way, I’ve made things, raised a family, built a career, grown gardens, read a lot of books, learned new skills, followed countless rabbit holes, and accumulated more projects and interests than any one person reasonably needs. I knit and spin and sew. I garden. I make things work, and when they don’t work, I usually want to know why. I’m endlessly curious, occasionally overwhelmed, and still figuring things out.
“Life is without meaning. You bring the meaning to it. The meaning of life is whatever you ascribe it to be. Being alive is the meaning.”
– Joseph Campbell
I’m hoping for some answers by the time my time is over.
